Session: Bridging the Gap in Middle School Science: A Workshop on Cellular Respiration and Photosynthesis

I am a passionate educator dedicated to fostering a love for science in students. Graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019, I continued my academic journey by earning a Master's degree in Science Education from DePaul University. Currently, I teach middle school science, spanning grades 5 to 8, at Dewey School of Excellence. Beyond the classroom, I indulge in outdoor adventures through hiking, unwind with arcade games, and enjoy the strategic challenges of board games in my free time.
