Empowering students to obtain, evaluate, and communicate credible scientific information (NGSS SEP 8) is key to developing scientific literacy and driving community change. In this session, teachers will explore Watch-Think-Write, Argumentative Essays, Photovoice, and Public Service Announcements—four powerful strategies to engage students in critically analyzing and communicating about issues impacting their communities.
