Session: Measuring the Temperature of the Sun using Student Data!
I am a 5th year PhD student in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at Northwestern University, interested in binary stellar evolution and compact objects including black holes and neutron stars. I use numerical simulations to model these systems and compare them to observational data. I also have experience using machine learning methods in astronomy. In my free time I enjoy playing chess, lifting weights, and photography
