PHOTOSYNTHESIS AND CELLULAR RESPIRATION

Can’t get that disc lab to work? Learn a couple of alternative activities that are actually easy to use! Try out Bio-Rad’s algae beads, learn to make your own algae beads, and explore what happens when you put plant cuttings directly into the indicator.

OPEN LAB

We provide the space and supplies for science teachers to explore and rework Biotech labs.

  • Have you ever wanted to design your own microbiology experiment?
  • Have you tried an ELISA assay and had it not work?
  • Have you ever wanted to rewrite the storyline for a DNA analysis lab?
  • Have you ever wanted to make your own algae beads?

Join us for a day of self-guided exploration where you can try out anything in our supply closet (check out available labs HERE). We will be on-hand to answer your questions as you troubleshoot, experiment, and tinker!

This workshop is perfect for teachers of Middle School Science, General Biology, AP Biology, Health Sciences, or Biotechnology students.

Participants will be able to access all materials needed for the lab FOR FREE through our Baxter Box Equipment Loaner Program.
