Time: 8:00am - 3:00pm
HS Biology teachers across the district are invited to participate in day-long learning around implementing NGSS-aligned Biology instructional materials which incorporate high-quality instructional practices. Participants will deepen understanding of modeling pedagogy and consider the role of models in constructing explanations about matter and energy cycling.
This workshop is presented in conjunction with the Chicago Public Schools Department of Science for CPS teachers. Substitute coverage will be made available for CPS teachers.
